Newsletter -
March 2004
Welcome to our first
newsletter of 2004. We have been exceptionally busy the last few months
which culminated in our being ranked the #1 Inmagic reseller worldwide for
new product sales. This increase in business has necessitated us
hiring two additional librarians, Ulrike Kestler and Kaye Martin to assist
us.
We are currently working on
some exciting projects with WebPublisher PRO and are undergoing
certification to permit us to work with Inmagic's Content Server product
line.

Ordering / Request cart
Andornot is pleased to announce that the shopping or request cart that we
have developed for several of our hosted clients is now available for
purchase. This provides a great solution for clients to set up a system so
that users can email requests directly from their WebPublisher PRO search
results. Pricing includes an
Andornot
Client Card to provide installation assistance.

For WebPublisher PRO users who
do not require an ordering system but would like their users to be able to
Email, Save or Print their results, Andornot will be unveiling our ESP
Search Results Manager shortly.

Highlighted Term
Andornot now has available a script that creates a hyperlink from one search
term to the next to replicate the Next Hit functionality in DB/TextWorks.
This is ideal for full text sites where the search word may be hidden below
the first display screen. It is used in association with our Friendly FIND
script that hides the fields searched to produce a more user friendly
option.
This Friendly Find and additional scripts, such as our very popular Index
Popup alternatives to Word Wheels, are available as part of our
Andornot
Client Card.
Inmagic Product News
Andornot can assist with
implementing the newest product from Inmagic, the
Inmagic Profiler developed by the Australian reseller Trimagic. This
current awareness and alerting service can be used for automatic
notification of new items matching a users interest profile, or for
maintenance tasks such as table of contents availability notification;
overdues etc.
We are also looking forward to
working with
Inmagic Genie©,
a web based library management
system announced for the Content Server product line.

Nominations are now being accepted for the next Inmagic
InfoHero
award given to
a customer who has created an innovative information
solution that has made a significant impact to their organization. Last
year's winner was Andornot client Lynda Roberts of
Bull Housser & Tupper.
New Client Website - West Vancouver Museum &
Archives
The West Vancouver Museum & Archives
has used Inmagic software for many years to catalog its collections, and
recently purchased WebPublisher PRO to provide web based searching
capabilities.
The West Vancouver Museum Online Digital
Collection is now available at

New Client website - Kitimat
Museum
Through a grant from BC Digital Collections, the museum was able to purchase
DB/TextWorks and
Archives
Online to catalog images covering the construction of the ALCAN smelter,
facilities and town of Kitimat. Andornot assisted in development of the
website and created HTML pages based on output from Archives Online. See

New
Client website - IUFRO Directory
The site uses the Andornot
templating system and
WebPublisher PRO
to provide an easy to maintain site that permits both
web searching and data entry. Some simple measures were also taken to
provide protection against misuse as this is a publicly available website.
