Inmagic Maintenance Program

Inmagic offers a maintenance program in order to provide customers with any new releases or service packs plus technical support.

The products on the maintenance program include:

  • DB/Text® & CS TextWorks
  • DB/Text® and CS WebPublisher PRO
  • Inmagic® Genie
  • Inmagic® Gatherer Plus

Notifications of the availability of new maintenance releases are emailed to clients, with a link to the download site and a password specific to the software serial number. Email Andornot or advantage@inmagic.com if your contact email address changes, or if maintenance notification emails are not being received.

Maintenance is required for the initial purchase of new products. In subsequent years a client may choose to exclude a product from maintenance if there are no interdependencies, however it is recommended that all products be maintained at the same version. Please contact us to obtain a quote for renewing your maintenance agreement.

Maintenance contracts include a set number of Inmagic Product Support incidents, ie.

DB/TextWorks - single user license = 2 incidents
DB/Text or CS TextWorks - multi user license = 6 incidents
DB/Text or CS WebPublisher PRO = 9 incidents
Inmagic Genie = unlimited

Inmagic is developing a customer extranet (available at http://www.inmagic.com/support/extranet-intro.html).  Access to this extranet will shortly be restricted to only clients with a current maintenance subscription.

If you have a support question you may contact either Inmagic or Andornot. If you contact Inmagic, please copy us on any emails so that we are aware of any issues and can assist if required. If you contact Andornot and do not have a separate support contract with us, we will assess the question to establish whether we can give a quick answer, or will refer you to Inmagic Product Support for assistance.

With all requests for support please include the software product, version number, your operating system and any other details such as the text of any error messages or the steps taken that caused a problem.
