My library career started around Grade 4, when I first volunteered as a library monitor in my elementary school library. This continued into high school and through my undergraduate degree.
Little did I know it would lead to a Master's program, but in 1998 I completed an MLIS at the School of Library, Archival and Information Studies at the University of British Columbia. I've always had a strong interest in software systems, so I embarked on a less traditional route through a few library systems companies and a dot com Internet start-up. From these positions, I learned a great deal about designing, developing, supporting and selling all manner of software.
I was delighted to join Andornot as a consultant in 2008, and to become a partner in 2011.
Outside of work, I am often found running, cycling, hiking and kayaking with friends and family.
