This multi-textbase web site features a Library Catalog, Archives Collection, and Pictorial Collection catalogues. Each contains a Quick Search and Advanced Search interface as well as an auto-boolean script that automatically inserts the "&" operator when entering search terms to mimic a Google type interface.

As with many of our hosted sites, the design of this new catalogue interface was handled entirely through email and the use of our Getting Started checklist to configure the requesting cart.

The
Interior Health Libraries web site was redesigned to integrate with the client's intranet and features a new requesting cart using Andornot's
WebPublisher Developer Kit (WPDK).
A few months later, Andornot surprised their client with a free web enhancement that integrates two new Andornot RSS Add-ons on the main search page.
The
RSS Control for WebPublisher creates RSS feeds from Inmagic WebPublisher databases. Any valid WebPublisher query can be turned into a feed using standard WebPublisher canned query syntax. You plug in the query, and it does the rest.
The
RSS Viewer allows users to display RSS feeds on their own web site. The Interior Health Library web page currently displays 2 RSS feeds: an RSS feed from their library catalogue (using the RSS control) that displays the newest additions to the catalogue and an RSS feed from the BC Ministry of Health.

In the late winter of 2006, BCIT hired Andornot Consulting to develop an online database of their
aircraft maintenance training collection. The Aircraft Maintenance Training: The First Fifty Years is a multi-media collection. The collection includes audio and video clips of interviews conducted with retirees, PDF's of curriculum from the early years of aviation maintenance training, newspaper clippings and more than 100 photographs.
This image archive collection uses Andornot's
WPDK and
ImageHandler system to automatically generate thumbnails of scanned photographs.
Later that spring, BCIT re-used the WPDK and ImageHandler system to develop their
Archives and Special Collections repository.
