Index Popups
Overview
One of the most useful features provided by Inmagic is the
ability to browse a field on the search page to guide the user to
more accurate search results. These browse buttons come in two
flavors when you purchase WebPublisher PRO: Java "word wheels" and
.NET "choices browser". So why would Andornot build its own? Aren't
we just re-inventing the wheel?
The answer is simple. Andornot's Index Popups are faster, more
configurable, more feature-rich, and work across more browsers than
the others.
Update! Index Popups now support validation lists
and can be used for web data entry. (Requires WebPublisher 9 or
better.)
AJAX Index Popups for "Web 2.0"
The 3rd version of our popular index popup now uses AJAX1 for
extra browsing power! That means no page flashes or waiting on a
blank screen for results. Plus, it lets you jump ahead in the list
you're looking at, finding matches as you type. There's also no
limit on database size; you can browse through even a very long
list quickly.
