For ordinary photos and images, the Andornot Image Handler creates thumbnails and enlargements as needed. For images with lots of detail, such as architectural drawings, or where users could benefit from being able to view portions of the image in close-up, the Andornot Image Zoomer can be added. This add-on allows a user to view a close-up section of a large image, without having to download a very large file or use any external software. Zooming in and out is fluid and handled by the add-on, within the user's browser. Scripts developed by Andornot process large TIFF or other images to generate the files needed for zooming.
